T. Bond Calloway, Jr., is a senior fellow at the Univ. of South Carolina in the College of Engineering and Computing. Previously, he was an associate laboratory director at the Savannah River National Laboratory, where he led a team of scientists and engineers conducting energy research. He has more than 35 years of industrial experience in research and development, design, construction, and operation of nuclear/chemical plants. Calloway was the 2017 AIChE President and co-led the development of AIChE’s RAPID Manufacturing Institute. He is a graduate of Auburn Univ. and a Fellow of AIChE, and he has authored more than 50 papers on various aspects of energy research and manufacturing.
